‘Sister Wives’: Kody Brown Not As Clueless As He Seems?

“Just rewatching sister wives today and made a few observations that I felt like posting here,” they began. “1. Kody is incredibly manipulative with his dummy dum dum act. For example when Christine is clearing out all his stuff he’s purposefully acting surprised and dumbfounded like he hasn’t been emotionally abusing her for years. F*cker knows what he’s been doing.”

The OP also pointed out how obsessive Kody can be and how it impacts the entire family.

“One thing that I learned about the hard way in my younger days was to watch out for men who fixate on negative things. For example his war with the state. It must be exhausting dealing with someone who has to be seen as doing the right thing all the time (even though behind closed doors he does less than nothing),” they concluded.

Many Redditors thought that Kody Brown is manipulative — however they also think he’s clueless. Why can’t he be both?

“I’m not sure that he isn’t clueless, I think he REALLY does believe he’s better than women, so he feels justified to treat them the way he does, and he really doesn’t get the problem because they should just deal with it,” another Redditor chimed in. “He doesn’t view it as abuse or manipulation because those are negative things and he views it as his birthright to behave this way and for the women to submit to it.”

“I agree, he’s very manipulative. But I also believe he is stupid and that it shows now how much it was the wives who actually were the ones doing everything,” someone else added.
