The Bachelorette star Gabby Windey and her fiance Erich Schwer are over. Fans started noticing there was trouble in paradise when he stopped showing up to watch her on Dancing With The Stars and she stopped wearing her engagement ring.
E! broke the shocking news and confirmed that the couple officially split. An insider revealed that Gabby and Erich just weren’t on the same page and couldn’t manage to align their goals. Although their engagement was short-lived, it seems like they will be better off pursuing their individual goals.
It will probably be a while before Gabby Windey is ready to seriously commit to someone else. However, many DWTS viewers think she may have serious chemistry with one of her castmates.

Many Bachelor Nation fans had a lot of hope for Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer. They seemed so happy together. He even came to visit her during rehearsals for Dancing With The Stars. Although they’ve parted ways, he’s still encouraging people to vote for her as her journey in the ballroom world continues.
This season, Gabby is partnered with Ukrainian dancer Val Chmerkovskiy. But during Halloween Night, Val had COVID-19 and had to sit out. Instead, Gabby competed with another pro, Alan Bersten. Fans couldn’t help but notice the pair had electrifying chemistry.
Of course, Redditors had something to say about the situation.
“YAY GABBY!! BOO ERICH!! GO ALAN!! I’ve heard he has chemistry w everyone (and that’s kinda his job lol) but I really felt like I could feel it!!” one Redditor said in a recent thread about Gabby’s split with Erich. “Glad Val is back but would’ve been very fine w one more week of Gablan.”
“I ship them but not even based off their chemistry in that dance,” another fan wrote. “It’s one thing for everyone to say Alan has chemistry with everyone, but Alan and Gabby had such a cute friendship in the social media activity we saw from them in the three days. They both have goofy personalities that makes me think they’d be cute together! 💗”
DWTS continues with 90s Night this week
Catch Gabby and Val in the ballroom tomorrow night at 8 PM eastern time. This week is 90s Night and the pair will perform the Samba to “Livin’ La Vida Loca” by Ricky Martin. During the dance-off, they will square off with Mark Ballas and Charli D’Amelio and perform a Salsa to “Aint Gonna Hurt Nobody” by Kid ‘N Play.
