When Does ‘Banished From The Hero’s Party’ Season 2 Premiere?
Japanese light novel series Banished From The Hero’s Party is getting renewed for a second season. Written by Zappon with illustrations from Yasumo, this novel is serialized on the Shosetsukla ni Naro website with the first volume published in October 2017. Later on, the light novel series was acquired by Kadokawa Shoten. As of now, the website has a total of ten volumes published since June 2018. Banished From The Hero’s Party Manga Has 9 Tankobon Volumes
Before the fantasy light novel series was adapted into an anime series, it received a manga adaptation with illustrations by Masahiro Ikeno. It is serialized in Kadokawa Shoten’s Monthly Shonen Ace since May 2018. The manga collection has a total of 9 tankobon volumes. Both the manga and the light novel series are licensed by Yen Press in North America.

As per Anime News Network, the TV anime series adaptation by Studio Flad and Wolfsbane aired from October to December 2021. The anime series is currently licensed by Crunchyroll and the first season aired on Funimation. Fans who haven’t yet watched the series can stream it on Crunchyroll. Banished From The Hero’s Party has a total of 13 episodes that aired originally on Tokyo MX, AT-X, BS NTV, SUN, and KBS Kyoto.
Banished From The Hero’s Party Gets Renewed For Season 2
The anime series’ second season was greenlit on October 31, 2022, with Makoto Hoshino returning as the director. The upcoming season’s script supervisor is Megumi Shimizu alongside character designer Ruriko Watanabe. However, no official release date for Season 2 has been announced as of now.

The official synopsis of the light novel series by Yen Press reads:
“Red was once a member of the Hero’s party, a powerful group destined to save the world from the evil forces of Taraxon, the Raging Demon Lord. That is until one of his comrades kicked him out. Hoping to live an easy life on the frontier, Red’s new goal is to open an apothecary. However, keeping the secret of his former life may not be as simple as he thinks. Especially when the beautiful Rit, an adventurer from his past, shows up and asks to move in with him!”

On the other hand, the hero’s party sent Ares to his final resting place while Red and Rit returned to their apothecary. Fans also got to see Red and Rit about to have a love scene. However, they are stopped midway because of Al. So, there is a chance for fans to see their romance bloom in Season 2.
