Caelynn Miller-Keyes Dishes On Changing Name After Marriage
Bachelor in Paradise couple Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert announced their engagement this week. The couple has been dating since they met on Season 6 of the show. Now, they are talking about the future and part of that includes changing their last name. Keep reading to find out what Caelynn had to say.
Caelynn Miller-Keyes dishes on changing name
Caelynn Miller-Keyes went to Instagram to do a Q&A with fans as she and Dean traveled. Of course, fans had questions about the proposal. One question was if Dean found the ring he said he misplaced. Caelynn revealed that he really did misplace it and she will definitely find it.
Next up, fans wanted to know about that treacherous trail they hiked in Hawaii that led up to Dean’s proposal. It is the Kalalau Trail in Kauai. She said it was one of the hardest hikes she has done.
Fans also wanted to know if she plans on changing her last name after she and Dean are married. Her response is very interesting. She revealed that she and Dean will both be changing their last name.
Caelynn revealed that she and Dean will both be changing their last name to Bell. Someone asked why they would want to change their name to Bell. She revealed that the name is significant to them because it is Dean’s mom’s maiden name.
Dean has already shared with fans that it has been 16 years since his mom passed away. He went on to say that this time of year has always been sad for him because of it. So, now, he has a happy memory, which is proposing to Caelynn, to help him through this time of year.
Their proposal
Dean finally popped the question to Caelynn after their 11-mile hike in Hawaii. Fans and Caelynn knew it was coming soon but had no idea when. She revealed that she did not know it would be happening on that difficult hike or even in Hawaii.
One thing both Dean and Caelynn have always talked about is eloping instead of having a big wedding. She revealed during the Q&A that they originally were thinking of eloping in Italy but are now considering Aspen.
The newly engaged couple is still traveling and hasn’t returned home to Vegas just yet.
