Is ‘Sister Wives’ Mykelti Padron Having A Home Birth For Twins?
Sister Wives star Mykelti Padron is nearing the end of her second pregnancy. The mother of one-and-a-half-year-old Avalon is currently expecting twin boys. However, they could come any day with how she is measuring and how big the boys are. That said, fans have many questions after Mykelti shared a progress post on her Instagram. One big question was if she would be doing another home birth. She openly answered this but what did she say? Read on for more details.
Will The Sister Wives Star Have Another Home Birth?
Mykelti Padron allowed her delivery with Avalon to be filmed for the current season of Sister Wives. Along with her husband, Tony, her mother, Christine was right by her side to offer guidance. Since Mykelti happened to be super close with her father’s fourth wife, Robyn, she also wanted her to be in attendance. Therefore, they had her Zoomed in for the event. Having a home birth was really important Mykelti as many of her siblings were delivered this way.

It did get scary when Avalon was being pushed out and it was discovered that the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck multiple times. So, what will Mykelti do this time around? After posting a big update on Instagram, fans were eager to know if she would do another home birth. After many fans asked this question, Mykelti put that it would be a hospital birth as one of the hashtags. Furthermore, they wanted to know if she would be delivering vaginally or via C-section. To that, she replied: “hoping for vaginal. But whatever happens happens.”
More Kids?
Mykelti comes from a family of eighteen and her mother, Christine Brown had six kids of her own. Therefore, Sister Wives fans also wanted to know if she was going to have more kids. It seems that the shop will be closed after this. However, she did not share if she and Tony may adopt in the future. They will have their hands full with Avalon and two baby boys. Luckily, Christine now lives in Utah permanently so they will have a lot of help.
As for Mykleti’s father, Kody, she has claimed they make a mutual effort to get together to be with Avalon. Yet, he has not made much of a deal about her expecting once again. He also has another daughter, Maddie Brush, who is pregnant with her third child, due in December. So, it is grandchildren galore. Mykelti has been apparently filming in Flagstaff so her current pregnancy may be a part of Season 18. It would be nice to see Kody finally interact with his grandchildren as it has been a long time since he has been around them.
