‘Superman’ Actor Henry Cavill To Star In ‘Loki’ Season 2?
DC Universe star and veteran Superman actor Henry Cavill might be a big part of Disney+’s Loki Season 2. As per rumors, the 39-year-old might be cast in the role of Hyperion, a popular Marvel Comics character that is based on Superman. He has similar abilities like levitating and flying through the air. Henry Cavill Talks About His Potential Role In Loki Season 2
The British actor recently appeared on the Happy Sad Confused podcast where he talked about the rumors and revealed the real story. Snubbing the rumors, he remarked, “As far as I know, I am not going to be in Loki… It would be a tricky one to handle at this stage…If James Gunn can do it, maybe I can too.”

The actor gave this statement referencing the fact that Gunn, who is now the co-CEO and co-chair at DC Studios, made projects for both DC and Marvel. His work started with last year’s The Suicide Squad for DC. Although Cavill might not be joining the MCU soon, he recently announced his return as Superman not long after DC’s latest movie Black Adam was released. The actor had a cameo as himself in the movie which he shared on social media. He wrote, “A very small taste of what’s to come, my friends. The dawn of hope renewed. Thank you for your patience, it will be rewarded.”
Man Of Steel Gets A Sequel With Charles Roven In Charge
Apart from his cameo in Black Adam, Cavill is also under consideration for a planned sequel to Warner Bros. Discovery’s Man Of Steel. As per CBR.com, the sequel is set to be produced by Charles Roven who is currently looking for writers for its script.

Talking about Loki’s second season, the star of the show Tom Hiddleston stated, “Season 2 is kind of a challenge of a question asked of the Time Variance Authority itself. A battle for the soul of the TVA.”

Additionally, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead also joined the team as new directors. The duo is popular for another one of the Marvel series Moon Knight.
