‘Bringing Up Bates’ Fans Notice Odd Activity On Erin Paine’s Blog

If you didn’t know, Chad and Erin have had a blog for many years. Some of their posts go back 12 years and even further.
On their blog, the couple typically shares encouraging messages, devotionals, and other similar content. They also post family updates and promote their latest YouTube videos there. This is one of several ways fans can keep in touch with them despite Bringing Up Bates ending.
While some fans do seem to enjoy the couple’s blog posts, something doesn’t quite add up.
Bringing Up Bates fans notice bizarre activity.
On Reddit, a Bates fan posted about something strange that’s happening on Chad and Erin’s blog these days. The Reddit user shared a screenshot of the Bates couple’s most recent blog post.
The blog post, titled “What the Word of God Does For Us” is written by Zyrek Castelino. However, at the end of the blog post, it says, “Be encouraged. Erin.” So, it looks like the message was written by Erin, but it was actually published on the blog by Zyrek.
The whole blog post is actually written from Erin’s point of view, too, mentioning her latest YouTube video.
Bringing Up Bates fans assume that Erin and Chad have their friend write their blogs for them based on their YouTube videos. However, it looks like he made a few mistakes by leaving his name in the post while adding Erin’s to the very end. The Reddit user who originally posted about it explained:
“The dude can NOT be bothered to proof read and remove his name. This is the third time. I noticed it two days ago and decided to give them a minute.”
The fan then urged Chad and Erin to “get it together” and sort out this ongoing issue with their blog.
Based on the blog post, another fan speculated that there is a lot more going on behind the scenes. They wrote, “They are struggling financially and maybe even with their faith. It’s okay to admit things are bad.”
