According to The Futon Critic, Annie Blake (Flood) is a professional aid worker. She started her own business called Helping Hands. After working in Nepal, she decides to return home to North Haven, Vermont. This is her first time back since her mother died three years ago.

When she arrives at North Haven, she sees a flyer from an animal shelter that needs fosters. Next, Annie heads over to the facility. She is ready to help out those in need!

However, the shelter has closed, and the local vet, Dylan (Simat), Annie’s high school nemesis, has a cornucopia of pets that need permanent homes.

Now, Annie is called to action. Next, she enlists her family, Dylan, and everyone in North Haven to help find homes for these adorable pets. Moreover, can she create a Christmas miracle and perhaps fall in love?
