American Pickers star Danielle Colby revealed the details of her painful condition that has landed her in the hospital bed. Danielle Colby Reveals Her Uterine Fibroids Diagnosis
Danielle has been documenting her health on Patreon and recently shared that she is to undergo a surgery for hysterectomy. The Bump ‘n’ Grind Academy owner suffers from an incredibly painful condition called uterine fibroids. They are non-cancerous growths that appear in the uterus and are made of uterine muscles. As per The Sun, these growths can cause the belly to bulge thereby pressing on other organs and increasing the pelvic pressure. It can also lead to difficulty in passing bowel movements and induce frequent urination.

The procedure is set to take place on Tuesday and Danielle shared on Patreon that she is ready for it. However, she did state that she is struggling to stay positive. She said, “I can only control so much. I can be sure I’m eating well, taking my meds, getting 20 minutes of light exercise 3 times a day, and thinking positively. No that doesn’t mean that my fears will just go away or that just because I’m thinking positive things will always turn out in my favor. But the reality is, everything is going to be just fine, better than fine!”
Danielle Colby Looks Forward To Exciting Adventures After Surgery
The American Pickers star then also used a bit of wordplay to keep her calm. She thinks of it as if she gets to have this surgery as opposed to working on the thought of having to get it.

Danielle continued, “I get to find relief from the pain I’ve experienced nonstop for three years. I get to look forward to a future where I can accomplish anything I want without having to worry about stopping down one week out of every month. I get to live the life I’ve always wanted to. I still have moments where I get a little bit of anxiety but, I get to look forward to a lifetime of exciting adventures with nothing getting in my way, nothing stopping me.”
Danielle Receives Diagnosis After Suffering From Menstrual Pain
The reality star had been silent about her condition for a long time. However, she recently opened up about her situation with a lengthy post. Danielle received her diagnosis after suffering for a long time from menstrual pain. In her detailed piece, she noted that it didn’t seem like a big deal to her at first as she never understood the diagnosis.
