However, it has been a few years since Hallmark made a WCTH Christmas movie. Could they have resumed this tradition for 2022?
Will There Be A When Calls The Heart Christmas Movie In 2022?
Hallmark’s Countdown To Christmas is underway. They are airing 40 new movies on both the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
Is a When Calls The Heart Christmas movie part of this list of holiday movies? Unfortunately, it is not. In addition, Hallmark has not made any sort of announcement about a WCTH holiday movie. They may not need to, as they did not make one in 2020, or in 2021.
Instead, they chose to supersize their seasons to 12 episodes, up two episodes from Season 7. Moreover, Hearties have enjoyed the long seasons. That is nearly three months of new episodes!
What should fans expect in Season 10?
A few big milestones are coming in When Calls The Heart Season 10. First, Leland and Rosemary (Kavan Smith, Pascale Hutton) are going to have a baby.
Next, Elizabeth and Lucas (Erin Krakow, Chris McNally) are getting married! It makes sense that they are waiting to air the series as this will likely be a summer wedding.
Lastly, WCTH will have a very special episode number 100. Although we do not know what they will do for this episode, the cast and creators have already celebrated that milestone.
When Does When Calls The Heart Season 10 Premiere?
The premiere of When Calls The Heart Season 10 will premiere later in the year than the February or March premiere dates that Hearties were used to for several years.
According to Deadline, Lisa Hamilton Daly, the Hallmark Media Exec Vice President of Programming told the reporters at the Television Critics Tour that Season 10 will be back until the middle of 2o23. That would likely mean sometime between June and August.
The network is introducing two new series next year. The first is the rodeo dynasty series called Ride, which will likely premiere early in the year. The second is the time-travel family drama The Way Home.
Currently, all three Hallmark series are in production in different parts of Canada.
