‘Dancing With The Stars’: Who’s On Top After Michael Buble Night?
Dancing With The Stars week six just wrapped up! So who is on top of the leaderboard now that Michael Buble Night is over?
It was a fun and exciting night for viewers. Singer Michael Buble performed and served as a guest judge for the evening, which meant that contestants were striving to earn a 50/50. One couple actually managed to earn that score.
Last week, viewers finally saw an end of the three-way tie for first place. Did it come back, or did one couple manage to stay on top? Keep reading and find out what really happened at the end of the night.
The top 10 Dancing With The Stars contestants battle it out
Many fans weren’t fond of the three-way tie at all. They really wished the judges would just pick someone to pull ahead once and for all. The contestants tied for first place were Charli D’Amelio, Wayne Brady, and Gabby Windey. Charli eventually did pull ahead. But did she defend her position tonight?
It wasn’t a surprise to anyone, but Charli and Mark did indeed manage to stay at the top of the leaderboard. They pulled off a flawless Foxtrot to “Fever.” They earned a 50/50 from the judges, but Derek Hough said he would definitely give them more points if he possibly could.
Fans seemed to think Wayne and Witney performed well, but they didn’t receive the best feedback from the judges. They received a 44/50 for their Quickstep to “I Get A Kick Out Of You.” Wayne also suffered an illness that prevented them from rehearsing until Friday night.
However, both couples are going to be back for another week. Now that Michael Buble Night is done, the top nine couples are back in the rehearsal room preparing for week seven. Without a doubt, it’s really going to be another exciting week.
The top nine start preparing for Halloween Night
As with every week, one couple has to say goodbye at the end of the night. Jessie James Decker and Alan Bersten found themselves in the bottom alongside Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater. The judges opted to save Trevor and Emma in the end, which leaves nine couples left in the competition as Alan and Jessie said goodbye. Who will stay and who will go next week?
Dancing With The Stars week seven kicks off next Monday night at 8 PM eastern time and 10 PM pacific time. Halloween Night will actually fall on Halloween this year, which will be incredibly exciting to see.
As announced on the show, the remaining nine couples will team up for special performances. It’s a component that hasn’t been seen on the show for several seasons, so many DWTS fans are excited to see that return.
