Andy Cohen Breaks Silence Amid Calls For Firing

Andy Cohen broke his silence amid the calls for his firing. Bravo fans think he should be put “on pause” indefinitely. They slammed the executive producer after his behavior in part two of the three-part Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion. Andy laughed with Erika Jayne and Lisa Rinna about throwing Garcelle Beauvais’ book out in the trash.

At first, it was assumed that Erika was the one who threw it out because she posted the clip on Instagram. However, Rinna confirmed that she was the one who threw it out. It was also revealed that the castmates had a group chat, of which Garcelle wasn’t part. He had a good laugh as they recalled the story.

Is Andy Cohen parting ways with Bravo?

At BravoCon 2022, fans wanted to know if Andy Cohen was leaving the network. His name has been synonymous with Bravo for some time. Some are holding out hope for his firing, while others want him to retire. It’s likely that Andy could want to spend more time with his kids. However, he put an end to the rumors during the panel.

“I just heard that down there,” Andy Cohen told Us Weekly at BravoCon 2022. “Yeah. That’s not happening. Not happening. When Bravo’s done with me, I will go off with a lot of happy memories.”

He has no intentions of leaving Bravo anytime soon. Even with the ever-growing calls for his firing. Andy wants to leave the network on a high note, not a bad one. Some fans think he should leave sooner for his recent behavior. They’re tired of his favoritism among the RHOBH co-stars especially.

Some of them couldn’t help but notice Garcelle’s expression during the reunion. She was trying to hold back tears. The actress received overwhelming support since that episode aired. Garcelle is appreciative of the Bravo fanbase.

He’s left Bravo before

Andy Cohen previously left Bravo in 2014. However, he still serves as an executive producer of several shows. Andy also still hosts Watch What Happens Live. According to Andy’s Bravo bio, he hasn’t worked as a network executive since 2014.

At the time of that announcement, fans wondered if Andy Cohen was going to leave the network. He still was a huge part of Bravo and its programs. WWHL was renewed despite the decline in ratings. The network had nothing but kind things to say about Andy and the late-night show.
