Mama June’s Daughter, Jessica Shannon Sends Her ‘Babygirl’ Bday Love
Mama June’s daughter, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon is very happily in love. She shared she had a girlfriend back in August. Jessica and Shyann McCant were caught kissing and smiling while walking together. However, it was not the first time the two had been seen together. They had shared snaps on social media but this was the first real public outing. Now, three months later, Jessica is sending a lot of love to her girl on a very special day. Read on for more details.
Jessica Shannon Sends Love To Her ‘Babygirl’
Before midnight hit, Jessica took to Instagram to send a sweet message to Shyann. “Happy Birthday Babygirl,” Jessica began the posting. She went on to add that the past three months were so good. Plus, she shared that she was hopeful they would spend forever together. Jessica included a slideshow of photos with the two of them and Shyann alone. This is her twentieth birthday and clearly, Jessica was very excited to celebrate the single mother.

Followers also chimed in with well-wishes. “Y’all are the cutest!!!! Happy birthday!!!” one commented. Another added: “Happy Birthday! Congratulations Jessica, she’s adorable.” Of course, Shyann was quick to let her girlfriend know how appreciative she was of the sweet post. “Thank you so much baby I love you so much!❤️” Then there were fans who did not know that Jessica was gay but she has yet to label herself. She is simply happy which is all anyone could want for her.
A Tough Road
Things have not been easy for Jessica Shannon. Her mother, Mama June struggled with substance abuse issues a handful of years after the cancelation of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. That show catapulted the family to fame and when it was over, June landed her own show along with some of her girls. She had undergone dramatic weight loss surgery so she was back out on the prowl. Sadly, it led her to drugs and an arrest, and her youngest daughter, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson had to live elsewhere.
She moved in with her older sister Pumpkin and eventually, Jessica found herself living there, as well. June had sold the title to Jessica’s car so she really had nothing. Luckily, she was a great caretaker and helped with Pumpkin’s growing family. Eventually, when June returned, she was supposed to get a place with Jessica but that never happened. This was all documented in the latest season of Road to Redemption. Now it seems that Jessica has found her own happiness. There is a lot of chatter that Pumpkin and Alana have gotten their own show so hopefully, fans can meet Shyann then.
