Bringing Up Bates fans got a special surprise from Lydia and Trace Bates this weekend. The couple shared some big news on social media, and fans are thrilled to hear all about it. What’s going on with the Bates newlyweds?
On October 1, Trace and Lydia got married in Tennessee. The couple then went to Hawaii for a couple of weeks on their honeymoon. Below, you can see one of the photos they shared from that adventure. It looks like the pair had a wonderful time.
On social media, they have been sharing lots of photos from both their wedding and their honeymoon. So, Bringing Up Bates fans get to be a part of the action. Fans have gotten to watch videos of some of the highlights of their wedding. Trace and Lydia also shared a video of their first look.
Lydia & Trace Bates drop exciting news
Now that they’re back home in Tennessee, Lydia and Trace have something to share with fans. The couple took to their Instagram Stories on Friday, revealing that their wedding ceremony video is live on YouTube.
In the description of the video, the Bates couple wrote:
“We had so many people ask for the full wedding ceremony, so we had to deliver! Such sweet memories!”
Lydia and Trace Bates’ full wedding ceremony video is just over 30 minutes long and features some very special moments from this important day. Trace’s sisters, Tori Bates Smith and Erin Paine, used their musical talents to play the violin and piano. Lawson Bates also sang a solo during the ceremony.

On YouTube, the video is already getting a lot of attention from fans. One fan commented on the video, “What a great wedding it was like being right there. Thank you for allowing us to share your day.”
Another one of Lydia and Trace Bates’ followers said, “How wonderful to see a ceremony so close to the actual time of the wedding. It was just beautiful.”
Though Bringing Up Bates was canceled, thanks to YouTube, fans can still be a part of many of the family members’ lives.
Bringing Up Bates fans previously threw shade at Lawson and Tiffany Bates for taking so long to release their wedding video because of how quickly Trace and Lydia’s was ready to go.
