Lifetime’s ‘Merry Swissmas’ Stars Jodie Sweetin, Tim Rozon
It’s A Wonderful Lifetime kicks off with Merry Swissmas. This Christmas movie stars Jodie Sweetin (A Cozy Christmas Inn, Fuller House), Tim Rozon (Wynona Earp, Love In Wolf Creek), David Pinard (The Boys, Lethal Love), Jane Wheeler (A Royal Queens Christmas, The Bold Type), Raphael Grosz-Harvey (One Of A Kind Love, Most Wanted), Mikaela Lily Davies (Murdoch Mysteries, Timon Of Athens), Alex Bisping (The Sketch Artist, The Fountain), Hudson Robert Wurster (Ghosts, House Of Chains), Amanda Ip (When Love Blooms, Single All The Way), and Laika Lalonde (Love By Accident, Fatal Vows).
Lauren Balson Carter (Deadly Cheer Mom, My Favorite Christmas Melody) wrote the script, with John L’Ecuyer (The Detectives, Murdoch Mysteries) directing.
What Is Lifetime’s Merry Swissmas About?
According to The Futon Critic, Christmas has become complicated for Alex (Sweetin). Although she once had wonderful memories of Christmas with her best friend Beth (Davies), things changed dramatically when Beth began dating Alex’s ex, Jesse (Pinard).
In addition, Alex’s demanding architect job has kept her from celebrating with her family. Therefore, Christmas has also become lonely.
This year, things are going to be different. Alex is going to celebrate the holiday season with her mother, Caroline (Wheeler). They also promise to be magical, as her mom opened an inn in Switzerland.
However, it seems that Alex’s plans have turned sour. She discovers that Jesse and Beth are also headed to Switzerland for Christmas and the inn’s grand opening.
But, it seems that things have turned around when Alex meets Liam (Rozon). Liam is a single father and the manager of her mother’s inn. Moreover, Liam has given Alex something more interesting to occupy her time and forget about Jesse and Beth.
Liam takes her around to show how they celebrate Christmas in Switzerland. The festive traditions and culture allow Alex to feel happy. Most of all, Liam’s presence allows her to finally forgive, and open up to new love. Isn’t this what the season is all about?

The premiere of Merry Swissmas is on Saturday, November 5, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on Lifetime.
