Olivia Wilde & Jason Sudeikis Break Silence On Former Nanny
Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have finally broken their silence on recent comments made by their former nanny. The former couple’s nanny has revealed that Sudeikis was allegedly heartbroken during the heavily publicized split. Their former nanny has also included other details about the couple’s previous relationship. However, Wilde and Sudeikis have come forward to set the story straight.
Former Nanny Tells A Story Of Heartbreak
Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have maintained that their split was mutual. They simply did not work as a couple and the pair have insisted that there was no drama or scandal surrounding the split. The nanny has a different story to tell though.

In an exclusive interview with The Daily Mail, the former nanny to the family talked about the couple’s toxic relationship and how Jason Sudeikis was completely blindsided by Olivia leaving him. According to the nanny, Sudeikis was so upset when confronted with Wilde leaving him that he threw himself in front of a car trying to stop her from going to see Harry Styles.
Wilde and Sudeikis announced their engagement was off towards the end of 2020, but the couple has revealed that the relationship was over in the early months of that year. The couple had been together nearly seven years and share two children together.
While they have publicly maintained that the decision was mutual and there was no scandal, their former nanny is saying otherwise. After Olivia left, Jason was allegedly heavily drinking and ranted to the nanny often about Olivia’s actions.
A Drunk Jason Fired The Nanny In The Middle Of The Night
She provided a slew of text messages from Olivia and Jason to her around the time of the split. Being in the middle of the warring couple left her with a lot of anxiety. To top it off, she says that she was fired late one night and thrown out of the home after Jason discovered she had been communicating with Wilde.
After leaving the home Jason and the kids were staying in London, she went to stay in a $719-a-night hotel at the expense of Sudeikis and Wilde. Once she returned to the U.S., however, she received nothing from her former employers in terms of severance pay. On the other hand, a representative for the couple says that the nanny ultimately chose to resign and that she was not fired.
The nanny, who has remained unnamed, maintains that she was fired and then received nothing from the family to keep up with her losses. She said she was a nanny for more than 20 years. After working with their family, she had too much anxiety to attempt to work with another family again.

According to Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis, these comments from their former nanny come after 18 months of harassment. They both hope that addressing the rumors publicly will finally put an end to it.

“The complete horses**t idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely inaccurate. Our relationship was over long before I met Harry,” Olivia told Vanity Fair in September. The nanny’s story contradicts this point though, stating that she was still talking about marrying Sudeikis in October 2020. Just a few weeks later, she was spotted out with Styles.
Despite trying to shut the rumors down in her Vanity Fair interview, the harassment has continued. The most recent bout of harassment comes in the form of an exclusive interview with The Daily Mail. To put an end to it, the former couple has released a joint statement.
“As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly,” they stated. They went on to detail the 18-month-long harassment campaign she’s led. Wilde and Sudeikis said their focus is on co-parenting their children. They both hope this puts an end to the harassment.
