Blake Shelton may be leaving The Voice after Season 23. However, there is still more of the country singer to go around. A few days ago, Blake teased that his new show, Barmageddon was coming. Now, an official release date is here and it is closer than anyone even anticipated. Read on for more details on this new and different reality series.

When Does Blake Shelton’s Barmageddon Begin?

Season 22 of The Voice is well underway but Blake has another show to prep for. Barmageddon’s release date has been announced and it is so close, fans won’t have to wait too long. Per Facebook, the bar game competition reality series will begin Monday, December 5th on USA Network. It will also star The Voice host Carson Daly and Nikki Bella who is soon to set in another reality series based on her wedding to pro-DWTS dancer, Artem Chigvintsev.

The series teases appearances by Blake’s wife, Gwen Stefani, and other singers and celebs. It will feature fun and different drinking games on an extremely competitive level. Carson will bartend while Blake will occasionally get up and sing. The two have become quite close over the last eleven and a half years of filming together. Daly even officiated Blake and Gwen’s July 2021 wedding to each other. So, it makes perfect sense that they would collaborate on this project together.

Fans Don’t Want To Lose This Coach

Sadly, fans of The Voice are not happy about Blake Shelton leaving the series. He is the last OG coach and his leaving is a game-changer. Fellow coach, John Legend even called him the “heart and soul” of the series. He will be exiting at the end of the current season and three new coaches will be coming in for Blake’s final year. Kelly Clarkson returns to her seat along with newcomers Chance the Rapper and One Direction’s Niall Horan. Some viewers have even said they will no longer watch without Blake around.

Luckily, Barmageddon will be filled with Blake and a lot of fun. Along with Nikki and Carson, they seem to be a super fun trio who will infuse great energy into the new series. Hopefully, fans will enjoy the rest of his time on The Voice while following him over to Barmageddon. They are both fabulous shows just completely different styles. Something for everyone.
