Light Novel Series ‘Saving 80,000 Gold’ Gets An Anime Adaptation
FUNA’s light novel series Saving 80,000 Gold In Another World For My Retirement is being adapted into an anime series. A popular title in the isekai genre, the series first originated on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. Later on, it was published with top-notch illustrations by Tozai in Kodansha magazine starting June 2017. To date, a total of seven volumes of the series have been released and are now being adapted into an anime by Felix Film. When will the new anime series premiere? Where can you watch it? When Will Saving 80,000 Gold Anime Premiere?
An anime adaptation of Saving 80,000 Gold In Another World For My Retirement was announced back on July 26, 2022. The series is being directed by Hiroshi Tamada alongside Akihiko Inari taking charge of the scripts.

Additionally, the characters are designed by Yuki Fukuchi. As per Anime News Network, the anime is slated to premiere in January 2023. However, no confirmed date has been announced as of now. The anime will premiere on TV Asahi’s ANiMAZiNG!!! and on ABC TV in Japan.
What Is Saving 80,000 Gold Anime Series About?
So, what is this anime series about? Just like any other isekai anime, it involves the main character transitioning from one world to another. In this story, the protagonist, an 18-year-old girl, is faced with a tragedy after she loses her family in an accident. While she struggles with her new life, Yamano Mitsuha falls off a cliff one day and is transferred to another world.

This new world is a medieval Europe civilization. As she explores the new world, Mitsuha discovers that she can return to Earth at her will. However, after a deadly fight with wolves, she decides to live in both worlds.
