While Anna currently lives in Arkansas, her husband is serving his 12-and-a-half-year prison sentence in Texas. Because Josh is behind bars, not much is known about what is going on in his life these days. But fans also don’t know a lot about what Anna is up to because she’s laying low on social media. She even deactivated her Instagram account.
Even though there’s some geographical distance between the Duggar couple, Josh has found a way to punish his wife from afar, according to a prison source. The source spoke with The Ashley’s Reality Roundup about what’s going on with Josh and Anna these days.
How is Anna Duggar punished by Josh from a distance?
The source spilled details about Josh and Anna’s conversations over the phone, as well as her visits. She drives nearly six hours each way every other weekend to visit Josh. They reportedly talk on the phone every day. He is allowed 500 minutes on the phone each month but did not receive any email privileges because of his crimes.
However, Josh seemed to punish Anna by giving her the silent treatment for a couple of days. The source claims that Anna is considering moving to Texas, but Josh thinks it’s a waste of time because he believes he will win his appeal and won’t have to serve his time behind bars.
The source stated:
“Josh and Anna had a dispute on the phone and Josh went two days without talking to her, which is big because he calls every day.”
When things got heated, according to the source, he stopped talking to his wife for a bit. It seems like this is his way of punishing her.
Despite their arguments and the distance between them, Anna Duggar doesn’t appear to be leaving him. As long as she continues to call him and visit him, it looks like she’s staying married to him. Fans are interested to see whether she stays with him throughout the duration of his prison sentence.
