The competition on DWTS Season 31 is heating up

At long last, the three-way tie is over!

Most Memorable Year Night serves a very important purpose on Dancing With The Stars. It’s a chance for the competitors to reminisce on the most important year of their lives and share their stories with the audience.

Plenty of teams managed to improve their score and are incredibly satisfied with their progress. But who is at the top of the leaderboard now? After a three-way tie that lasted several weeks, one couple has finally pulled ahead.

Although Gabby Windey and Wayne Brady both performed well in their routines, TikTok superstar Charli D’Amelio and her partner Mark Ballas stunned the audience with their Contemporary routine. Now, Wayne is in second place and Gabby is in third.

In her package, Charli admitted that she struggled heavily with her anxiety since achieving TikTok stardom. However, 2022 was the first year she decided that she wouldn’t let it bother her any longer.

The pair performed a Contemporary routine to “when the party’s over” by Lewis Capaldi. Mark represented anxiety during the routine and tried his best to pull Charli under, but she overcame him.

The pair nearly received a perfect score for the spectacular performance. They earned 10s from three judges, but head judge Len Goodman gave them a 9. It wasn’t quite a perfect score, but they did earn the first 10s of the season.

Tomorrow, Mark and Charli will dance the Jive to “You Make My Dreams” by Daryl Hall and John Oates.

Who said goodbye at the end of the night?

Even though the cast of DWTS Season 31 will be back tomorrow night for Prom Night, the journey is over for one couple. Actress Selma Blair admitted that she enjoyed her time on the show, but her MS diagnosis was forcing her to step away from the competition. It was a difficult choice, but she knew she needed to put her health first. She and Sasha managed to complete one final dance before she chose to say goodbye.

Fans are so thankful that Selma and Sasha managed to stay in the competition for so long and they will really miss her.

You really won’t want to miss out on Prom Night! Tune in and see how your favorite contestants perform during Prom Night. The episode will begin at the same time as tonight’s episode — 8 PM eastern time and 5 PM pacific time. Vote if you want your favorite competitors to stick around for another week!
