Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Is Now The Top Ranking Anime

For most anime fans, My Anime List is the go-to choice for fans in need to keep track of their favorite series. The website lists some of the best anime titles as voted by users. Fans Feel Fullmetal Alchemist Will Regain Its Original Spot

However, fans feel that it is just a matter of time before Fullmetal Alchemist swoops back to its original position. Recently, the show bumped its rating to 9.12 as well. So, it might not take the show too long to push Bleach to second place.

Of course, beating the king of anime is no doubt an impressive feat for Bleach. Even some of the most renowned series have had problems taking over Fullmetal Alchemist’s spot. As per ComicBook, the only shows that came close enough were Gintama and Kaguya-sama: Love Is War. So, after a decade-long wait, it isn’t a surprise that Bleach’s fandom helped the series rank at the top spot.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Has Made Hollows Scarier

The new series follows the Blood War arc and has brought several changes to the story. For example, the Hollows were initially problematic for Ichigo Kurosaki and his companions. However, later on, they became much less scary and were more of a simple nuisance. In the latest series, the Hollows have undergone a major makeover. They now look much scarier.

For the unversed, Hollows are a race of creatures born out of human souls. They, for various reasons, are unable to cross over to the soul society after their life as a human comes to an end. Once their soul stays in the human world for way too long, their spirits become corrupted with different types of supernatural powers. They devour the souls of both deceased and living humans.

Although the Hollows settle in Hueco Mundo, they can just as easily cross over to the Soul Society and Human World. These creatures are just the opposite of human beings in terms of character and look.
