‘The Voice’ Adds 3 New Coaches To Offset Blake’s Exit
Yesterday, Blake Shelton announced he would be leaving The Voice. Currently, in Season 22, the OG coach has just one more season left before he exits. This is not making fans happy at all. They have actually threatened to stop watching the series altogether, at this point. It was one thing when he lost his partner in crime, Adam Levine. However, Blake was able to rebound with great banter between himself and Kelly Clarkson. Now, he gets along swimmingly with Camila Cabello and they have a perfect way of bouncing off one another. Unfortunately, Blake’s final season is bringing in three new judges to offset his exit. Read on for more details.
The Voice Brings In 3 New Coaches To Offset Blake’s Exit
It was a sad day when Blake announced he was leaving the series. Though it was a well-thought-out decision, it was not an easy one. He wrote a very long message to his fans, which he posted on his social media. However, it does not make it any easier for fans of the long-running reality singing competition. Now that he is exiting, it appears that the show is getting a revamp with new coaches coming in to help offset the fact that Blake with be leaving.
According to The Sun, John Legend will be exciting his coach’s chair. He joined the series in Season 16 and won his first year. Camila Cabello, who joined this year, will also be leaving. Finally, Gwen Stefani is also exiting her chair, which she has done on and off since first coming on in Season 7. Replacing them will be Kelly Clarkson. She had noted she wanted to come back after leaving last season to focus on her family and very successful talk show. This will be quite exciting for fans of the show.
The newest additions to The Voice will be Chance the Rapper and Niall Horan from One Direction. Fans are angry about this switch-up, maybe not so much about the new coaches but more so about Blake leaving. By bringing in some fresh faces, it might usher in a new generation of viewers to the series.
Fans Do Not Care Who Comes In
Even with the revamping of The Voice, fans are not thrilled about Blake leaving and the changes ahead. “And I will no longer be watching once you leave. You made the show Blake,” one fan commented. Another added: “No sense watching it now, won’t be funny anymore!!” It appears that with the lack of OG coaches, diehard fans find the show unnecessary. Luckily, they have one more season after this one left of Blake. Plus, host Carson Daly is still sticking around so there is some nostalgia.

I will not be watching the voice anymore. I’m into country music and am not interested in any of the new coaches.
I will not watch this show if Blake is gone. And they haven’t picked a country person to take his place. I like Kelly Clarkston but you need someone funny, country music lover and witty. I’ll decide when they get it right.. Gonna miss you Blake😢💔

Blake “is” The Voice!!!!! You need to do something to get him to stay if possible. Probably, will rarely watch or not watch at all when Blake is gone! He sets up every funny situation on this show which helps to relieve tension for all the people who audition and he takes such personal attention to his every team member and even helps many beyond the show. He is special to this type of show. We tune in just to watch Blake cause we know it is going to be a fun show! Other than Kelly, your coach choices will not pull the show through to success! If you want a new audience then good luck cause the one you had was loyal!
The show just won’t be right without Blake. And with John leaving also there’s no reason for me to watch. I like Carson but, there just isn’t a connection between the coaches with Blake gone.
