Former Little People, Big World star Audrey Roloff showed fans what her family was up to on Tuesday night. Did she actually reveal that splinter removal is a part of their daily routine, though? Keep reading for all of the details about this ritual the Roloff family has.

If you follow the Roloffs on social media, you may know that Audrey, Jeremy, and their three kids, Ember, Bode, and Radley spend a lot of time outdoors. They often go camping and enjoy plenty of time in nature every day. They recently moved to a new property with plenty of space to run around and explore.

Jeremy previously talked about walking around barefoot while outside and practicing “grounding.” He even shared a video of himself and the kids barefoot on a walk. And now, Audrey seems to be sharing the aftermath of playing outside barefoot.

On her Instagram Stories, Audrey shared a snap of Jeremy sitting in a chair with two-year-old Bode and 11-month-old Radley in his arms. Five-year-old Ember is checking out Bode’s feet and removing his splinters.

Below, you can watch a video of this little ritual the Roloffs have. Ember is hard at work making sure she removes all of Bode’s splinters. In the video, Audrey Roloff asks Ember, “You getting ’em, sis?”

After Ember takes a closer look at Bode’s feet, she asks him if he “feels any more.”

Jeremy also thanks his daughter for her help. It looks like she’s had lots of practice with this regular routine.

Is this a daily occurrence?

From Audrey Roloff’s post, it seems possible that removing splinters happens every day. She called it an “evening splinter removal routine,” so it sounds like they do this each night before coming in from playing outside.

If this does happen every day, it’s unclear why Jeremy and Audrey Roloff don’t put shoes on their kids to prevent splinters and do away with this regular routine. It would save the kiddos from the pain of splinters. As you can see in the video above, the kids were still barefoot outdoors while walking around on the deck, so there’s a chance they got even more splinters after the splinter removal routine.

So, what do you think of this daily routine? Do you think it’s odd? Sound off in the comments section below, and come back to TV Shows Ace for more news about Audrey Roloff and her kids.
