The one who cheated, Ned Fulmer, eventually issued a statement, as did the three other Try Guys, Zach Kornfeld, Keith Habersberger, and Eugene Lee Yang. The public and the other three Try Guys were shocked and disappointed by the news.

In the Saturday, October 8 episode of SNL, there was a skit about the whole ordeal. The skit included host Brendan Gleeson and cast member Ego Nwodim. These two played the roles of a CNN correspondent and anchor. While they were initially supposed to cover news from the White House, they received breaking news about the Try Guys drama.

Saturday Night Live stars Mikey Day, Andrew Dismukes, and Bowen Yang played the roles of Keith, Zach, and Eugene. In the skit, the three guys mocked the Try Guys’ emotional video about the whole cheating scandal. SNL was poking fun at how serious the guys’ YouTube video was and teased that it took priority over the important world news.

  1. Ain’t it funny how people get “offended” by a skit on a show that has done the same thing for years?! But, don’t get offended when someone (tRamp) commits blatant anti-American crimes against Democracy!

  2. I watch the skit live. I thought it was funny. Did not know the Try Guys were real. Since the guys post their real life situtations on YouTube for the world to see, it is fair game for SNL to make fun of them…just like they do for celebrities and politicians.

  3. SNL makes fun of a lot of topics/people but they crossed a line here. Try Guys we’re seriously distraught over what happened, and as funny as they are in their routines, they did NOT think what happened was to be made light of by the others. Kudos to them for publicly coming out with the news and sharing their disappointment and asking for respect and privacy. perhaps the SNL writers and cast were a little too jealous over the success of Try Guys? SNL =tasteless. Try Guys = commendable.

    1. agreed. especially when the context gets mistaken AND especially considering the person who wrote the skit was a friend of the person who was let go from the try guys.

  4. oh please! this is what SNL does! get over it. they’ve done worse. those who are whining about this are not SNL fans, have no idea how SNL works. they are a satirical show. they poke fun at everyone! grow up!

  5. So let me get this straight…SNL finally does something half funny and everyone is pissed off about it? How about getting mad about the stuff they don’t make fun of…like our president and the 1st lady and the speaker of the house….This is so mild and anyone offended by it needs to get a life…much more important things to be upset about out there.
