Disney+ Night just wrapped up! The entire night was a homage to popular Disney films, as well as entertainment found on the Disney+ platform. This year, there were plenty of new themes, including The Simpsons and the MCU.

But at the end of the night, one couple had to go home. Only 12 couples could move on to next week’s episode. Who will be here for another week and who said goodbye? Keep reading to find out.

Another couple leaves the competition after Disney+ Night

Before tonight, three Season 31 contestants have left. Jason Lewis, Teresa Giudice, and Cheryl Ladd were all eliminated in previous episodes. So who joins their ranks now?

After a very exciting episode, Sam Champion and Cheryl Burke ultimately went home at the end of Disney+ Night. For several weeks now, Sam said he had been dealing with body pain and aches. That certainly didn’t do him any favors in the rehearsal room.

After the couple ended up in the bottom two during James Bond Night, Cheryl Burke said that she felt lucky that she and Sam managed to make it so far in the competition.

“With this season in particular, there’s peace along with the whole elimination process,” the 38-year-old dancer told Us Weekly recently. “Like, normally I’m a nervous, sweaty wreck, but with Sam, if I’m looking at the actual ability of all the celebrities? We are very blessed to still be in this competition, to be quite honest, and Sam knows that.”

Many fans are sad to see Sam go, but are so proud of all the progress he’s made in the ballroom so far.

What’s coming up next on DWTS?

Themed nights seem to be the standard for Dancing With The Stars Season 31. A full list isn’t out yet, but many fans expect that there will be a Halloween episode as per usual.

October 24 is going to be the Michael Buble episode. The singer will perform and help judge. And there’s more to look forward to — judge Derek Hough will perform.

“Michael Bublé is a dear friend of mine, so I may or may not have made that happen, but he’ll be here,” the 37-year-old told Parade. “He’ll be guest-judging with us, he’ll be performing, and I’ll be creating a whole piece to one of his songs. Actually, I have a meeting after this [interview] to go plan it, how I want to use the cameras and stuff, so it’ll be a big performance coming up.”

Check back for more information on DWTS Season 31! Disney+ Night may be over, but there will be a brand new episode out next week. Stay tuned for details on the set list, them, and more.
