‘My 600-Lb. Life’ Guest Benji Bolton: Where Is He In 2022?
My 600-Lb. Life viewers first met Benji Bolton back in Season 6. He and his brother David both appeared on the show after realizing they simply weren’t living life to the fullest. They experienced significant health issues due to their sizes and just wanted help getting on the right track.
The Bolton brothers struggled to adjust to Dr. Now’s rigorous program but ultimately found success. David managed to lose 361 lbs while Benji lost 364 lbs. By the end of the episode, Benji Bolton weighed in at just 218 lbs.
By all accounts, the Bolton brothers appear to be much healthier now. But where exactly did they end up?
David & Benji Bolton encouraged each other to keep going
During their Season 6 episode, both David and Benji Bolton said that their weight issues were “destroying” their lives. They had mobility issues and couldn’t enjoy things the way they wanted to.
The road was long and difficult, but well worth it. David Bolton has an active Instagram account and he appears to be keeping up the hard work.
Benji Bolton does have an Instagram account, but it has been set to private. He doesn’t appear to post on it often, either. However, based on the profile picture alone, it’s clear that Benji was able to stay on top of his weight.
After everything the Bolton brothers overcame in life, their fans are very pleased to learn that they kept working towards their goals.
David Bolton went on to sue the show after filming wrapped up
Although the brothers did lose weight on the show, it appears that everything wasn’t so rosy behind the scenes. David Bolton was actually one of several former patients on My 600-Lb. Life who went on to sue the show after filming his episode. It appears that David thought the production team would pay for his medical bills, but the TLC personality alleges he paid for most of it out of his own pocket.
This is actually a common complaint among former My 600-Lb. Life guests, so it appears that there may actually be something going on behind the scenes.
Some fans speculated that TLC would actually cancel the show after all the lawsuits, but it appears that Season 11 is in production. Dr. Now has even teased that the network will put out new episodes before long. Season 11 episodes may even air on the network as soon as November 2022. Fans will just have to wait and see where the series goes from here.
There will be plenty more My 600-Lb. Life updates to share soon. Check back for more update stories and see how former patients are doing in 2022. Take a look and see what Janine Mueller is up to this year.
