Jessa Seewald calls out secular parents

This week, Jessa Seewald took to Instagram and talked about her parenting choices. The mother of four talked about the ways she involves her kids in housework from an early age. She acknowledged that this can sometimes take longer or be counter-productive. However, she explained, “These are opportunities to help them form positive habits of being helpful and seeking out ways to bless and serve others.”

She specifically pointed out that she believes in “biblically excellent motherhood.” By doing so, she called out secular parents, claiming that they are “mediocre.” Fans interpreted this post as Jessa saying Christian parenting is superior to secular parenting. They feel that the Duggar daughter is trying to prove that her “biblically excellent” parenting is the only right way to raise children.

In her post, she also shared a quote from the book M is for Mama: A Rebellion Against Mediocre Motherhood by Abbie Halberstadt. You can read the lengthy caption here.
