‘The Renovator:’ Everything To Know About New HGTV Series
A new HGTV series, The Renovator premieres very soon! The new show is hosted by entrepreneur and philanthropist Marcus Lemonis (The Profit). If you love HGTV’s other easy-to-watch, feel-good home renovation shows, you will be happy to hear about the newest addition.
However, The Renovator goes deeper than changing up the appearance of a home. Keep reading to get all of the details about the show and find out how you can watch the premiere.
What is the New Show All About?
The Renovator follows Marcus as he switches roles and starts tackling home renovations. This is outside the realm of his typical work, but he’s ready to handle whatever comes his way. As a businessman, some of his skills will be put to good use. However, there are plenty of new things for him to learn along the way.
On the show, Marcus takes the reins and takes families’ homes from boring to beautiful. In the trailer, he meets a family of six living in a three-bedroom home. Before he takes on this challenge, he listens to the family’s concerns and the areas in which their home could be improved. He asks the couple about their own challenges with one another as well.
Then, he explains that renovating their home is only part of his mission. By learning about the family and chatting with the couple, he is hoping to find ways to improve their relationship and help them communicate more clearly with each other.
In the trailer for The Renovator, he says, “Move a wall, change an attitude. That’s how I see it.”
How to Watch The Renovator
The very first season of Marcus’ latest venture kicks off on Tuesday, October 11 at 8/7c. Then, new episodes will continue to air Tuesdays at 8/7c. Be sure to tune in to see what all Marcus is able to accomplish while renovating houses and improving relationships.
New episodes of the show will also be available to stream on discovery+, which requires a free trial or paid subscription.
