Her publicist, Roger Neal revealed to AP News that she died of ovarian cancer. She received the diagnosis amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Sadly, her ovarian cancer was at stage four at the time of her diagnosis. She had a positive attitude about this fight and released a music video in 2021 titled Kicking Cancer’s A**.

Roger also noted that Judy never wanted to reveal her age previously. She always said that her date of birth was November 7, 1965, but in reality, she was born in 1949. So, she was 72 when she died.
