‘DWTS’ Fans Think Judges Are Bullying Vinny Guadagnino

Vinny Guadagnino isn’t the first cast member from Jersey Shore to compete on Dancing With The Stars. He has the entire support of his castmates and even took some tips from his castmate, Snooki. She competed in Season 17 with Sasha Farber.

But at this point, most DWTS fans don’t think that Vinny has a great shot at the Mirrorball Trophy. There could be an upset, but it’s not looking too promising. Although Vinny and his partner Koko Iwasaki have managed to stay out of the bottom two each week, they also consistently receive low scores from judges.

Fans may like Vinny and Koko’s routines, but the judges may not agree. Some Redditors even believe the judges might be bullying Vinny, whether it’s intentional or not.

Vinny Guadgnino failed to impress the judges during James Bond Night

During James Bond Night, Koko and Vinny scored a 23 out of 40 for their Rumba to “Thunderball” by Tom Jones. It was the lowest score of the night — even lower than Cheryl Ladd and Louis Van Amstel, who ultimately went home. Fans seemed to enjoy the performance, but the judges just weren’t impressed.

“Why are the judges so hard on Vinny??” one Redditor wrote recently. “No he’s not the best dancer but I feel like compared to everyone else he gets so torn apart by the judges. He’s really trying, even if he’s not the greatest dancer. And I [am] really starting to feel so bad for him.”

Most Redditors did agree that the judges were very rough with the Jersey Shore star. And it pained viewers to see his face after receiving the feedback.

“It’s so hard to watch them critique him, and I feel bad for him!” another Redditor chimed in. “He’s obviously not a professional dancer, but you can tell he’s trying, and he and Koko [seem] to have fun together. The judges are so unnecessarily harsh towards him.”

Vinny doesn’t have any professional dance experience but did work at Chippendales for a while. Before the competition started, he said he planned to use that experience to help him learn the choreography.

No matter what the judges say, the Jersey Shore star is trying his best. He even commented that the judges underscore him.

Can the couple redeem themselves during Disney+ Night?

DWTS Season 31 will air Disney+ Night on Monday. Vinny and Koko will perform the Samba to “Il Gatto E La Volpe” from Luca. Fans hope that Vinny and Koko will be able to finally win over the judges this week, but only time will tell.

Fans that want to tune in can catch the live stream starting at 8 PM eastern time and 5 PM pacific time on Disney+. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite couples!
