Carlin Bates Stewart Explains Social Media Absence
Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates Stewart updated fans this week after taking some time away from social media. She revealed why she’s been absent lately and let everyone know how she’s doing. Keep reading to get all of the details.
If you follow Carlin on Instagram, you probably know that she frequently shares updates with fans. She is often giving fans a peek into her life via her Instagram Stories. She also shares occasional posts on her regular Instagram feed. But recently, she’s been a little quieter than usual. She hasn’t been off of Instagram for more than a few days, but fans quickly noticed her absence because of how often she typically posts.
On her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Carlin Bates Stewart shared a screenshot of the direct messages she recently received. It looks like many fans have been messaging her and wondering where she has been. They were simply concerned and wanted to make sure she was okay.
Carlin has been having seizures since the spring and is still awaiting a diagnosis. So, some of her followers were worried about her health.

Below, you can see some of the messages Carlin received. Fans are saying they have missed her posts and they are asking if she’s alright.
She responded and said, “We are good here just not 100% and needed some time to recover.” She thanked everyone for messaging her.
Then, Carlin Bates Stewart shared a couple of other photos to give everyone a peek at what she’s been doing. She said she’s been enjoying “lots of sleeping and laying low with my peeps.”
In the photo below, you can see Carlin and her two-year-old daughter, Layla, holding matching cups.
In another slide, Carlin Bates Stewart showed fans her medications and said that the doctors added another one to her regimen. She added, “I have been feeling well since then.”
Hopefully, Carlin gets the rest she needs and starts feeling better soon. Bringing Up Bates fans certainly seem to miss her posts, but they understand her absence and are continuing to pray for her.
