‘Alaskan Bush People’ Season 14: Will Matt Brown Return?
Alaskan Bush People returns on Sunday night to Discovery Channel. However, with all the news about the Brown family coming back for their 14th season of reality TV, many fans are still asking if Matt Brown was going to return to the show.
It is rare to read any social media post by any of the Brown siblings, or by the Alaskan Bush People site itself, and not see people asking for Matt to come back home and return to the show. However, is there a chance that he could be back for Season 14?
Matt Brown was fired from Alaskan Bush People
Matt Brown was the oldest son to Billy Brown and was a big part of Alaskan Bush People in its first few seasons. However, Matt had his own struggles and inner demons. He ended up with an addiction to drugs and alcohol and ended up heading to rehab to work on his recovery.
However, Matt said that producers from his own show were who kept supplying him with the drugs. Whether this is true or not remains unknown. With that said, it burned some bridges. Then things got worse when two women accused Matt of sexual assault in 2020. The district attorney declined to prosecute based on lack of evidence.
This is what really got him fired from the show, and never invited back. After these accusations, most of his family have refused to speak to him. While Matt and Billy reportedly made up before the patriarch’s death, he clearly is still estranged from the rest of his family. Only Bear Brown wished Matt a happy birthday on social media this past year.
Could Matt return to Alaskan Bush People?
There is almost no chance that Matt Brown returns to Alaskan Bush People this season, or for any future season. No matter what he does right in his new life, Discovery probably won’t touch him again. Based on his Instagram posts and YouTube videos, he is doing very well in his recovery process.
Matt said he and his dad reconciled before Billy Brown died last year. However, when the funeral aired on Alaskan Bush People, Matt Brown was nowhere to be seen. If he wasn’t on the show during his own father’s funeral, he likely won’t be on for any other reason. That really was his last chance, honestly.
His brother Bear Brown got married and that will air this season. However, in previous posts by Raiven Brown, she made it clear the family was finished with Matt. She also said no one knows what all went on in real life. It sounds like, whatever any of us knows, Matt Brown and his family have a severed relationship. Matt said as much in some of his videos, where he said his truth will come out one day. With that said, fans will still get their fill of Matt thanks to his Instagram and YouTube videos, which are just as entertaining as anything else his family is doing.

I think he needs to come back he is a brown and he needs to be with his family. Family us very important. Come on forgiveness is where its at. And anyone without sin cast the first stone.
I would love to see Matt Brown back with the
bunch. I really liked him. There is a need to have him there.
Yes, I want to see Matt back on the show. the show has not been the same without him. he belongs on the show with the rest of his family.
Yes he should return he was the reason I watched the show but since he left I don’t keep up with it like I did. Everyone has issues and we shouldn’t judge on the issues alone it’s about weather he trys to change and do right and move from the bad and does good. His family being the asses…and unforgiving shows what kind of people they really are which seems to me as trashy if they can’t forgive and move on…so shame on the family…..
no matter what took place within that family if they are Christians as a claim they are this whole show they will forgive Matt and Matt will forgive them and he will return to the family he made the show he was awesome on this show and I’m not kept up with it since then either
Bring Matt Back!
It has been known for decades that back in the day Women got their chance in tv and movies by having to “Audition” on the proverbial Producer’s Couch!!
So why is it so hard for anyone to believe that the Producers were supplying Matt with drugs? He Was a fan favorite the 1st several years of the show. Of course they were going to exploit his addiction as long as he was one of their Cash Cows!!
What Really pisses me off is his family!! They should have been helping and supporting Matt!! That angle of the show, documenting his struggle and the support of his supposed “Close Nit, Loving Family” circling the wagons around him and helping him through his healing process would have made the show much more real and would’ve most certainly helped anyone watching it that had an addiction problem seek out help from their families and rehab!
Instead his family chose the Money over him!! Why watch the show when it’s now obvious that they are not the Close loving family that they portray to be is 100% faults!? Then when you put your son or your brother over money than in my eyes, his parents and siblings are just a bunch of actors that could care less about each other if it jeopardizes their cash flow!

I’m beginning to think the same way they’re bunch of actors all about money they really don’t live in Alaska and in the wilderness they really don’t live in a Wilderness in California they live in mansion that’s unfortunate because a lot of people would do anything to live out free like that the whole lives
i’m hoping Matt comes back to the show so the family can be complete again (accept for Da Billy) Family needs each other. I enjoyed watching Bush People and Matt was the main reason. After he left, I didn’t’ watch too many episodes like I did when Matt was on. Please invite Matt back, and Matt please come back! We really miss you so much!

Nobody except Matt and his family knows what happened and I find speculation a dangerous slope to tread. With that being said I’d love to see Matt Brown back.
