Was Alyssa Bates’ 5th Baby Planned & Does She Want A 6th?
Bringing Up Bates star Alyssa Bates Webster spilled the tea to fans about her fifth pregnancy. She opened up about some personal topics and got real about whether baby number five was planned. She also revealed whether a sixth baby is in her plans. Keep reading to get all of the juicy details.
As TV Shows Ace reported, John Webster and Alyssa Bates are currently expecting their fifth baby. The new little one will arrive in the spring and join four big sisters, Allie, Lexi, Zoey, and Maci.
Now, Alyssa is sharing more about her pregnancy. So, what has she revealed?
Was Alyssa Bates’ 5th Baby Planned?
On Friday, Alyssa dropped a new YouTube video all about some very intimate details of her pregnancy. She let fans send in questions on her Instagram Stories and then filmed a video answering some of them. Before getting started, she said it would be pretty personal.
Bringing Up Bates fans were curious to know whether baby number five was planned and if the couple is planning on a sixth as well. One Bringing Up Bates fan asked, “Was it planned?”
In response, Alyssa said, “No.” Then, she laughed and confirmed, “Definitely not.”
She explained that early on in 2022, they discussed the possibility of having a fifth child. John left it up to Alyssa to decide because of how tough her pregnancies have been. She said they originally planned on stopping after their fourth child, Maci, because of the challenges she dealt with during her pregnancy.
But, in the video, Alyssa Bates admitted that she had baby fever and went back and forth for a while. Then, she said, “There were like, one or two months, where I was like, ‘Let’s just go for it, and if we get pregnant, like, we do and let’s just not use protection.'”
During that time, she didn’t end up getting pregnant. They felt that it was just meant to be at that point. That’s when they decided to get one of Katie Bates and Travis Clark’s puppies. But she was already pregnant then and didn’t realize it.
In the video, she vaguely explained, “There was, you know, just one moment where, after we decided we were done having kids…that it was just one time, like one time, we were like, ‘Oh, it’ll be fine, you’re totally not gonna get pregnant.’ And I got pregnant.”
Does She Want A 6th?
When a fan asked if this will be their last child, Alyssa Bates simply said, “Yes.” So, as long as things go as planned, it doesn’t sound like another baby is in their future.
