Becca Kufrin Shares Wedding Update With Fans
Former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin went through a lot to find her happily ever after. She endured heartbreak on The Bachelor, then found out her chosen one from The Bachelorette was on a different path than her. Finally, she made the choice to try one more time on Bachelor in Paradise. The third time’s the charm, she met and fell for Thomas Jacobs on the beaches of Mexico. She shocked everyone when she proposed to Thomas earlier this year. Now, she’s dishing on where she and Thomas are in their wedding planning process. Keep reading to find out more.
Becca Kufrin talks engagement
Becca Kufrin made history when she shocked everyone by proposing to Thomas instead of him to her. He of course accepted and the two are engaged. However, he is still planning a proposal of his own. In fact, Becca dished on that and when it might be happening.
Bachelor Nation shared what Becca had to say. Becca shared that she thinks the proposal from Thomas is coming soon. She has given him ideas of the kinds of rings she likes. After continuously changing her mind he finally told her to stop sending him ideas because it was done.
So, she isn’t sure if he has the ring, is designing the ring, or where he is in the process of obtaining it but she thinks it’s all happening soon.
Becca said, “I think he’s picked something out. I don’t know if he has the ring or just a diamond or what. I don’t know if he’s designing it or where he’s at in the process, but he just told me to stop sending him ideas.”
What kind of ring does Becca dream of? She said, “For the longest time I just wanted a band, but he wants to get me a diamond. So I really like elongated cushions, specifically the Ashoka-cut diamonds that are very antique-looking and kind of art deco. And I am a gold girl. I love gold.”
Have they started wedding planning?
As for wedding planning, Becca shared they haven’t dived too much into the process. She did say they will most likely wed in San Diego or will just elope.
Becca said, “We haven’t really thought about wedding planning too much yet. We would like to do the fall because we both love the chillier weather. I don’t even know if we’ll be able to do next year — we have so many weddings we are going to that are all over the world, so when are we going to be able to find a time that we can get married?! All of our friends are hogging all the weekends!”
In the meantime, Becca and Thomas are working on making their new home perfect. They have been doing home renovations and really making the house their own.
Becca said once that gets closer to being done they can really start talking about their wedding date.
