One DWTS Season 31 couple went home and several blew up the ballroom

DWTS Season 31 has been a lot of fun so far. But sadly, it is a competition and only one couple can win at the end of the season. After the Elvis Night episode, 14 couples remain in the competition.

Fans that caught the episode already know that Teresa Giudice and Pasha Pashkov said goodbye at the end of the night. They joined Peta Murgatroyd and Jason Lewis on the list of eliminated couples. The audience seemed to enjoy the routine, but it just wasn’t enough to keep them in the competition

But when it came to first place tonight, there was a surprising three-way tie! Three couples performed amazingly well and received a total score of 32 each. The couples were:

This hardly comes to a surprise to DWTS Season 31 viewers. These three couples performed amazingly in night one as well. But now, it seems like the other couples are inching in on Mark and Charli. They’ll really have to step up their game next week if they want to remain ahead of the pack.

There were plenty of honorable mentions too

Although there was a three-way tie tonight, there were plenty of other routines that fans fell head over heels in love with. The judges seemed particularly impressed with Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater’s routine, which they called “steamy.” Judge Bruno Tonioli even fanned himself at the end of their performance.

Heidi D’Amelio previously said that she thought about quitting the competition, but came back better than ever and ready to perform tonight. Judges commented on how much she and Artem Chigvintsev had improved since last week.

And of course, everyone loved Selma Blair and Sasha Farber’s routine. Selma said her leg kept bothering her in the rehearsal room, but they managed to pull off a fun and crowd-favorite routine nevertheless.
