Last year, UPtv unexpectedly pulled the plug on Bringing Up Bates. This cut off the income many of the family members were previously relying on. After all, they have been on TV for years on a couple of different shows.
Fortunately, Gil and Kelly Jo Bates’ kids have many other ways to provide for their families. Many of their adult children run their own businesses, as we’ve reported in the past.
Bringing Up Bates fans question how Chad & Erin Paine pay the bills.
One Bates couple, in particular, has fans wondering what they do for a living. Chad and Erin have the most children of any of Gil and Kelly Jo’s kids so far. In January, the couple welcomed their fifth child, Finley Marie to the world. They also have Carson (Charles Steven IV), Brooklyn Elise, Everly Hope, and Holland Grace.
On Reddit, a fan asked an important question about Chad and Erin’s financial situation. So, how do they provide for their kids?
Erin and Chad have a couple of businesses that seem to cover their family’s financial expenses. They run Chad & Erin Co., which is where they sell religious items. They offer a variety of products, including ABC memory cards, stickers, ABC scripture cards, holiday cards, and more.
In addition, Chad runs Paine Construction and takes on many home renovation jobs.
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Erin used to be a part of the Bates Sisters Boutique with Whitney and Carlin Bates. However, she has since stepped down from that role.
Some fans on Reddit are still skeptical and wonder exactly how much money Chad and Erin make. One fan said, “While it can be lucrative, I’m unsure how a single income pays for a family with that many little mouths to feed and backs to clothe, but they do have a form of income.”
But sounds like the Bringing Up Bates stars must be doing well with their two businesses, even with the costs that come with raising five young children.

This is old news. What are Chad and Erin doing now that they are in Florida? I have seen nothing about that anywhere.
