Carlin Bates Shares Sweet Snaps Of Layla & Zade Then & Now
Former UPtv’s Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates Stewart shared a sentimental post with fans on social media last week. She posted comparison photos of her two kids, Layla Rae and Zade Patrick Stewart, revealing how much they have grown. If you didn’t know, Carlin and her husband, Evan Stewart, welcomed their second child to the world in March. So, Layla became a big sister! Below, you can see one photo that Evan posted shortly after they brought Zade home. In this snap, Carlin Bates is holding both of her babies close.
In Carlin’s four-month update about Zade, she revealed how Layla feels about her brother. She wrote the post from Zade’s perspective, and it reads:
“My big sis is always trying to hold me, but it normally only last a few seconds before she’s yelling out, ‘too heavy’. She never forgets to leave me with a big kiss.”
Now, Carlin Bates is looking back on Layla and Zade’s friendship and how far the little siblings have come.

On her Instagram Stories this past week, Carlin Bates took fans on a walk down memory lane. She shared a couple of bittersweet photos of her two young children. The first snap was taken right after Zade got home from the hospital after his birth.
In the photo, Layla and Zade are in coordinating blue outfits. The new big sister has her arm around her little brother. It was taken on March 31, 2022, and he was just a few days old then.
In the second photo, Layla and Zade are in matching outfits once again. This one was taken on September 22, 2022. This time, they’re wearing black pajamas with a pumpkin print. You can see how much they’ve grown throughout the past few months.
