It’s been a little while since fans last heard from Max. He previously shared his side of their breakup story via YouTube but later took the video down. Then, he was featured in Welcome to Plathville Season 4 and sat down to chat with Micah Plath. Viewers also learned that Lydia Plath had been talking to him. But after all of this, things seemed to settle down when it came to Moriah Plath’s ex-boyfriend.
Now, he’s worked his way back into the spotlight with a dramatic change.
Moriah Plath’s ex-boyfriend Max Kallschmidt debuts a new look.
On his Instagram page on Friday, Max revealed his change to his many followers and Welcome to Plathville fans. His hairstyle now features many tiny braids all over his head. He posed for a mirror picture to give fans a good look.
In the caption of his post, Moriah Plath’s ex poked fun at his own new hair. He wrote, “I’d like to say that I lost a bet and this was the punishment but I’m actually just crazy enough to laugh at myself through anything.” He also gave credit to his hairstylist, Erin Test.

One of Max Kallschmidt’s followers mentioned Moriah Plath and her potential reaction to this new look. The fan teased, “Big oof. I hope Moriah sees this and is laughing just like I am 🤣”
So far, Moriah hasn’t publicly said anything about Max’s hair. It doesn’t look like any Plath family members are interacting with his post.
