‘Bachelor’ Clayton Echard, Susie Evans Call It Quits
Another Bachelor couple bites the dust. After recently deciding to leave Virginia and live in separate states for a bit, Clayton Echard and Susie Evans have split. She headed west to California while Clayton went back to Arizona. They had made it clear they were not breaking up and she was planning to eventually head to Arizona with him. However, that has turned out to not be the case. What happened?

Clayton Echard and Susie Evans went to Instagram to share a joint statement about their relationship. They have decided to go their separate ways.
Susie shared a photo of the two of them together and said, “With incredibly heavy hearts, we wanted to share that we have decided to go our separate ways. For anyone who has ever loved, knows this was a painful decision to make and not one taken lightly.”
She continued by saying that she knows everyone will have questions about why they decided to split up. She said, “social media is definitely a highlight reel and much of our experiences together we have kept private as I’m sure most can understand. But we will share this — although this last year together has brought us so much joy and so many laughs, there has also been a significant amount of pain.”
The post went on to say that they realize no relationship is successful without struggles but that the external powers working against them were too much. She noted they are continuing to work on themselves.
Susie and Clayton concluded the post by saying, “This is not an easy time for either of us but we stand in support of each other and hope to see the other go on to find happiness and healing. Although Claysie is no more, we hope that our communities can support us individually as we move forward with love and respect for each other.
Thank you to all of you that supported our relationship. It means so much more than you will ever know. ❤️”
The way they were
Their relationship ended just six months after The Bachelor finale wrapped up. Susie and Clayton rekindled their romance after the show ended. They had a rocky start and had a lot to overcome. Sadly, it just wasn’t meant to be.
Clayton had moved to Virginia to be with Susie. They have seemed happy but as she pointed out, social media is a highlight reel.
Fans have loved following them and their hilarious TikToks. They will be missed.
