‘Andor’ Season 1, Episode 4 Runtime Leaks, How Long Is It?
Disney Plus’s latest series from the Star Wars universe, Andor, premiered on September 21. While the first three episodes have been released on the platform, nine more episodes will air on a weekly basis until the end of November. The network officially reported that Episode 4 is slated for release on September 28, but what is the runtime of the episode? Keep reading to find out what you can expect!
Disney Plus’s Andor Episode 4 Will Have The Longest Runtime
Although there isn’t a lot of information about the fourth episode, it is reportedly confirmed that the episode is about 47 minutes long. From what we have seen in the first three episodes, theories suggest that Diego Luna (Cassian) will interact with the Rebellion for the very first time. He will also have his first brush-off with Genevieve O’Reilly (Mon Mothma).

In an interview, the Andor actress talked about the forthcoming future of the series. Genevieve noted, “That’s the world we’re in investing in with Andor, this spy thriller corner of the Star Wars world. But at the time we meet them is a time I don’t think we’ve really discovered much or wrestled with much within the timeline of Star Wars. And that is where there is not quite a rebellion yet.”
As per Meaww, the upcoming episode is slated to be the longest in the series so far. The first episode touched around 40 minutes and the same was true for the third episode as well. On the other hand, the second episode had 37 minutes duration. However, Andor will air for 12 episode instead of Disney’s usual eight-episode format.
Andor’s Runtime Is Similar To The Mandalorian’s Runtime
This is a similar runtime pattern as seen in other series from the Star Wars universe. This includes Disney+ blockbusters such as The Mandalorian Seasons 1 & 2 and The Book Of Boba Fett.

For fans that haven’t yet seen the initial three episodes, the series’ official synopsis reads:
“The Andor series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception, and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.”
The series follows the story of its lead character, Cassian Andor, the rebel spy. The story trails the time during his formative years when he joins the Rebellion & carries out several missions for the cause.
