‘1000-Lb. Best Friends’: Meghan In TEARS, What Happened?

Since the show’s first season came to an end, Meghan has been pretty active on social media. She’s shared her health journey with followers and keeps them informed on her progress.
But recently, the 1000-Lb. Best Friends star posted a video that had fans really concerned. What brought the TLC personality to tears?

Meghan Crumpler is one of the most cast members on 1000-Lb. Best Friends and it’s not hard at all to see why. She’s kind, compassionate, and loves sharing her life with her fans. Fans hate seeing Meghan in any kind of pain, which was why her latest video initially raised some alarm bells with followers.
In a recent Instagram video, Meghan Crumpler completely broke down in tears. At a glance, she appeared to be crying hysterically. What exactly happened?
Upon further examination, it appeared that the tears weren’t real at all. Meghan actually put a filter over the video to make it look as if she had been crying her eyes out. And after actually watching the video, it appears that it was all a joke.
In the video, the 1000-Lb. Best Friends star reveals that she ate too many gummies and decided to watch a movie. However, she accidentally muted the film at one point and forgot about it. She watched the entire movie that way and thought she might be going deaf.
“#haha #laughingthroughlife,” she captioned the video.
In the comments section, fans mostly left laughing faces. A few wrote that they’d been in Meghan’s shoes before. It seems like the TLC personality still has her upbeat personality — she’s just cracking some jokes with her followers.
Meghan Crumpler focuses on personal growth this year
Although the video was just a prank, fans are relieved that Meghan Crumpler isn’t actually suffering from any major tragedies. She’s been in a much healthier headspace this year and fans want to see her continue to grow.
“…I’ve been [trying] to do selfies lately a lot more… it’s part of my self love movement…” the 1000-Lb. Best Friends star wrote on Instagram this summer. “I wanted to share some of my moments with you where I’m feeling pretty… I honestly have many sides to me that I often don’t share like the women in me that is more edgy in style… maybe it’s because I fear of it not looking right on me, because of my size or fear of judgement…”
She showed several images of herself beaming at the camera and fans agreed she never looked better.
