A little less than a week ago, Janelle Brown of Sister Wives revealed she was on a vacation in Hawaii with Christine, Aspyn, Maddie, Caleb, Savanah, and her sister. While fans were thrilled to see so many members of the Brown family tree having such a great time, they also had one massive question. Who was footing the bill for this vacation? Did Janelle dig into her husband Kody’s deep pockets to help pay for this vacation? Or, do Janelle, Christine, and Maddie really make enough money with their business ventures to take this kind of trip?
How much does flying from Utah to Hawaii even cost?
While there is no way to know exactly how the Brown family traveled or what they paid, Sister Wives fans can do a little research to get a general idea of what a trip like this could cost for seven people. A quick search on Google reveals a flight from Utah to Hawaii runs between $700 and $1,400 depending on what airline and how direct the flight is. On the low end of the scale, this means the Sister Wives family spent at least $5,000 just making the trip to Hawaii.
This $5,000 price tag does not include where they are staying, what they are eating, and how they are getting around. Moreover, this price tag also doesn’t include any babysitting feeds considering Christine had to leave Truely with someone and Maddie and Caleb have two small children they left behind.
It isn’t too much of a stretch to say this trip could have cost the group of seven anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000 depending on what they decided to do while they were in Hawaii and where they decided to stay. Likewise, the length of time they decided to stay in Hawaii would also be a factor.
Sister Wives: How did this family afford this trip?
On the most recent episode of Sister Wives, Kody Brown boasted of making $200 an hour. Presently, both Christine and Janelle Brown are believed to have net worths of $400K a piece. These net worths are separate from that of Kody Brown who is believed to be worth $4M.
Now, it is unlikely Christine and Janelle Brown really spent much of anything on certain aspects of the trip. Most fans assume this tropical getaway was a gift because of their hard work with Plexus. So, the answer to the question is really that Sister Wives fans footed the bill for the trip by following these women on social media and buying into their weight loss product.
