“Milo and I are rooting for him,” Camryn Manheim told PEOPLE just before the DWTS Season 31 premiere. “We have definitely made it known he’s our guy.”

The Ghost Whisperer actress confirmed that she and Daniel worked together during a 2015 revival of Spring Awakening. She knows he has what it takes to win the whole competition.

“He’s going to be great,” she continued. “I did a play with him, and he is so talented and brilliant and he could dance. So he’s going to be good.”

Britt and Daniel definitely have the Manheim family’s votes. They can probably count on Nyle DiMarco and Marlee Matlin’s votes too. Little by little, they’re quickly winning votes all over the country.

The couple performed the Tango to “Barbra Streisand” by Duck Sauce on the first night. They earned strong scores from the judges, who gave them a 27 out of 40 points. Right off the bat, it’s clear that these two are going to be strong contenders all season long.

The couple prepares to make a splash on Elvis Night

During the season premiere, Daniel Durant confirmed that he might not be able to actually hear the music, but that doesn’t stop him from dancing. Instead, he can feel the vibrations of the music. His partner Britt is also learning some ASL to help direct him better.

Charli D’Amelo and Mark Ballas took home the highest score for the first night, but Daniel and Britt are prepared to come back stronger than ever next week.

Next Monday night is Elvis Night, so you definitely won’t want to miss this. The episode starts at 8 PM eastern time only on Disney+. Tune in and see exactly what Britt and Daniel come up with.
