‘Bringing Up Bates’ Katie Bates Shares Second Trimester Update
Bringing Up Bates star Katie Bates Clark is expecting her first baby. Along the way, she has been keeping her followers updated on her pregnancy. Now, she is in the second trimester and has more details to spill. Keep reading for all of the details.
In case you missed the news, Katie and her husband, Travis Clark, took to social media last month to reveal that she’s expecting. Just recently, they announced that they are having a baby girl. The couple is thrilled about this and can’t wait to meet her in a few more months. Katie recently said that the due date is March 4.
Bringing Up Bates: Katie Bates Shares Second Trimester Update
On her Instagram Stories, Katie recently posted a box for fans to submit questions. Then, she responded to a select few of them. Many of the questions are about her pregnancy, so fans got a full update on the baby on the way.
One Bringing Up Bates fan asked about the baby’s initials, and Katie revealed that they are H.J.C. At this point, they aren’t sharing the name but will do so before she is born.
Another fan was curious to know whether Katie’s morning sickness had improved. In her previous YouTube videos and Instagram Stories, she has talked about how bad her morning sickness is.
This week, however, she said that her morning sickness is getting better in the second trimester, but she is still nauseous. She said that she is “feeling much better than I was.”
As for cravings, the Bringing Up Bates star hasn’t had too many strong cravings. She mostly wants to eat bland foods, which makes sense given her morning sickness and nausea. She added, “I do eat a lot of chicken noodle soup.”
In another Instagram Story post, Katie addressed her birth plan. She plans to give birth in the hospital and get an epidural.
Finally, the Bringing Up Bates star talked about her and Travis’ travel plans before the baby’s arrival. She said, “Trav and I are trying to get all of our spontaneous trips in before baby Clark arrives.”
