When Will Netflix Drop ‘Dynasty’ Season 5?

CW Just Finished Airing Dynasty Season 5
On Friday, CW aired the final episode of Dynasty Season 5. At the end of Season 4, Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) was shot, and her marriage to Liam (Adam Huber) was in shambles. Blake’s (Grant Show) marriage to Cristal (Daniella Alonso) is finally starting to work.
We also left Alexis (Elaine Hendrix) in jail, with her children Adam (Sam Underwood), and Amanda (Eliza Bennett) playing a cat and mouse game.
Sam (Rafael de la Fuente) uncovers a family secret that could demolish them, while the Colbys are trying to figure out what is next. Jeff (Sam Adegoke) is not going to outer space, but Dominique (Michael Michele) is trying to soar with her own business.
Lastly, Culhane (Robert C. Riley) tries to find his soul mate, while Kirby (Maddison Brown) embarks on a reset.
When Will Netflix Release Dynasty Season 5 Around The World?
According to Rafael de la Fuente who posted on Twitter the news that Netflix is dropping Dynasty Season 5 on Saturday, September 24. This will be worldwide. CW just premiered the finale episode on Friday, September 16.
Netflix then can drop the series eight days after the final episode of the season.
This did not happen with the first two seasons of the series. Netflix dropped the series about the Carrington clan on the next day, Saturday, after it premiered on CW.
However, that contract changed. This meant that international fans around the world had to wait for the full season to finish airing in the states before the streamer could drop the entire season at one time.
The first four seasons are currently streaming on Netflix.

When Does Dynasty Season 6 Premiere?
Unfortunately, Dynasty was part of the big changes at parent company Paramount. Season 5 is the final season. But they had a good run. For a series that often had less than a half million live viewers, it was renewed over and over again. Why?
According to Deadline, who spoke with showrunner Josh Reims, there was never a discussion about ratings. That is because the series was a Netflix number one series in many parts of the world.
It’s funny because it’s the first show I’ve ever been on or where there was literally no discussion about the ratings ever, which was great. In season two, we shot in Paris and some of the actors came back and said it was crazy because people showed up to the set and recognized them on the streets. It was then that we realized that internationally, there’s a crazy fan base. So when the Netflix listings came out and showed which countries we were number one in, we realized, ‘oh, this is much bigger than just the CW,’ which was good.
That means, their promotion budget was minimal. He revealed that people were “just waiting for it to drop on Netflix.”
Now, those people will be happy to know that Dynasty Season 5 will drop on Saturday, September 24 on Netflix.
