Tracy Morgan Reveals A Huge Shark Tank In His Backyard
Tracy Morgan recently revealed a unique addition he’s made to his home to help support his daughter’s dreams of becoming a marine biologist. He shared details about shark tanks in his backyard, among several other tanks throughout his home. Keep reading to see what Tracy thinks is the most dangerous creature he owns.
Tracy Morgan On The Kelly Clarkson Show
In a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Tracy Morgan appeared with his daughter, Maven Sonae. Tracy shares Maven with his ex, Megan Wollover. The comedian also has three adult sons, Tracy Jr., Malcolm, and Gitrid Morgan, who he shares with his ex-wife Sabina Morgan.
Chelsea and Hillary Clinton were also featured in the chat with Kelly Clarkson. Tracy sported an all-blue outfit while Maven wore all white. Though she seemed a bit nervous at first, she loosened up and started to share things about herself.

During the conversation, Maven revealed that her favorite ocean animal is a shark. This led to Tracy telling everyone that he has a shark tank in his backyard. That might seem like an exaggerated thing to do to honor someone’s favorite animal, but it is more than that for him.
The Reason Behind The Massive Shark Tank
As it turns out, Tracy Morgan’s daughter Maven is interested in marine biology – what kid isn’t? When she expressed interest in learning more about becoming a marine biologist, Morgan wanted to show his support in whatever way he could.
More so, for the 53-year-old actor, this meant eight tanks in his home containing different marine life and a 20,000-gallon shark tank in his backyard. “There’s 14 or 15 sharks in there, black tips, white tips,” he shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

While his daughter is very interested in learning about all these different creatures, the family receives outside help with caring for many of them. Morgan mentioned that they have a cone snail from Australia. According to him, it is the most dangerous thing on the planet.
This isn’t the first time Tracy has talked about all of the odd marine life in his home. In 2019, he talked with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos about his love of marine life. He discussed the numerous aquariums and shark tanks at his home with the talk show hosts. According to Morgan, looking at the marine life in the tanks take him away from anything stressful going on. He also told Kelly and Mark that his uncle and family members instilled a love for aquariums and sea creatures in him at a young age.
