Kody Brown Wants Christine To Take All Blame In Failed Marriage
One big question Sister Wives fans had following Kody and Christine Brown’s split was simple: How did they tell his other wives? Awkward and uncomfortable are a couple of the words fans could think to describe how Christine and Kody breaking the news to Meri, Janelle, and Robyn probably felt. Though, many fans suspect Robyn likely had a private celebration behind closed doors and away from the cameras.
Per a sneak preview dropped by People Magazine, it appears as if Christine and Kody Brown were NOT on the same page when it came to breaking the news to the other wives. What did they disagree about exactly? Keep reading for the details.
Kody Brown doesn’t want to tell the wives
In the preview, Christine Brown tells Kody he wants to tell the wives they plan on splitting up as soon as possible. She knew the news wasn’t going to be easy for them to swallow. But, she didn’t want it to feel like she was lying to them or hiding something from them. She wanted to get out in front of it as soon as she could.
Kody Brown questioned if he really needed to be involved in that discussion. From his point of view, they were only splitting up because Christine didn’t want to be with him anymore. Kody believed that Christine should be the one to tell the other wives because the break-up was completely on her. He insisted that he wanted to try to fix it and make things worse. From his point of view, she was leaving him. So, she should be the one to tell people.
Christine Brown, however, did not like that plan. She wanted to present as a united front. Christine believed they needed to tell the wives together. Kody, however, doubled down on not wanting to be involved because he believed she was just trying to save face.
