What Is Hallmark’s Autumn In The City About?
According to the Hallmark synopsis, Piper Grant (Teegarden) has decided she needs a pivot. She wants to pursue her career passion. Therefore, she moves to New York for a fresh start.
There, she takes temp jobs that are invigorating. This means she works all over the city and meets different people. That includes Austin Edwards (Roderick). Austin is an aspiring writer. His main goal is to make a name of his own, and emerge from the shadow of his famous journalist mother (Wheeler).
However, the two are opposites in personality. Piper has a sunny optimism. She views the world in a half-full way. On the other hand, Austin has a jaded personality. He sees things half-empty.
Yet, the magical autumn in the big city brings them closer together. Best of all, Piper realizes her true passion is illustration. Therefore, they decide to team up on a children’s book project.
As they work together, they soon learn that perhaps what they both were searching for was each other.
