’90 Day Fiance’ What’s Yve’s Domestic Violence Status?
90 Day Fiance star Yve Arellano went from marital bliss to it all crashing down on her. When the tell-all was over, she discovered her husband, Mohamed Abdelhamed was unfaithful. The mom of one was unsure as to how she would proceed knowing he was exchanging texts with another woman. Then, she was accused of domestic violence by the Egyptian native though Yve denied these allegations. So, what is the status of the case? Read on for more details.
A 90 Day Fiance Romance Gone Wrong
Yve was shocked to learn that Mohamed had a text romance with another woman. However, he had no problem saying he would look for another Green Card sponsor throughout Season 9. There were some issues within the couple but Mohamed just wanted the security of knowing he was staying in America. Then, shortly after the tell-all aired, Yve was charged with domestic violence. In mid-August, she was charged with one count of battery against a household member. An additional charge was an assault against a household member.
However, her camp denies these accusations to In Touch: “The domestic abuse allegations have been falsified by Mohamed. Mohamed and the woman he has been cheating on Yve with have discussed his options from the very beginning.” Her rep went on to add: “The domestic abuse allegations are completely false and just a ploy to keep him in the US. Yve was not arrested on 8/15 or any other day. Yve has never been abusive toward Mohamed and just wants this chapter in her life to be done so she can move forward.”
She was set to be arraigned on September 6th. According to Starcasm, Yve did appear and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for October 2. Therefore, there are steps to take in order for this to go away or at least be settled. No word on what is going on with her and Mohamed but it appears she has scrubbed him from her social media.
All The Red Flags
Most 90 Day Fiance fans were not surprised when their romance went south. Mohamed was used to completely being taken care of by his mother in Egypt. Therefore that was what he expected from his future wife. He actually was the one who pursued Yve by sliding into her DMs after he saw what great shape she was in. It did not matter that there was a 20+ age difference. When he moved to America, he expected Yve to dote on him the same way his mommy did. At the same time, she had a full-time job and a child with special needs. He did not want to be a nanny or put on the back burner.
When Yve had a bidet installed for Mohammed, he flipped out that the installer was a man. How could she be in a bathroom with another male who was not him? Furthermore, he did not like the way she dressed when she would go out. He believed she was too exposed and it made him uncomfortable. Finally, he got angry that she was dragging her feet with planning their wedding. He just wanted to seal the deal while she was trying to make her dreams come true. In the end, this was not a match made in heaven.
