Kate Middleton did NOT rush to be at Queen Elizabeth II’s bedside, why?

Kate Middleton and Prince William have three small children together: Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4. According to Page Six, all three of their young children started school this week. So, it was a big week for William and Kate’s family and it just wasn’t feasible for both parents to rush to the bedside of their Queen.

Wednesday was referred to as a preview day with photos surfacing of all three children looking precious in matching school uniforms as they walked hand-in-hand with their parents. Thursday, however, was the first official day of school. Previously, the children attended Thomas’s Battersea in London. Today, however, was their first official day at Lambrook School in Windsor, England.

With it being his children’s first official day of school, Prince William made the trip to Balmoral, Scotland alone to be with his grandmother during her final moments.
